The Central Bank of The Bahamas and the Ministry of Finance revised key timelines for the request for proposals for a Bahamas government digital payment system. Proposals are now due electronically by 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2026, with late submissions and submissions by fax or physical copy excluded. Bidders must submit separate technical and cost proposals. The revised schedule sets Oct. 7 as the deadline to report nonreceipt of a proposal acknowledgment, with shortlisted vendor presentations expected around Oct. 13 and notification of the intended award around Nov. 16. Other parts of the request for proposals remain unchanged unless amended separately.
