The Jersey Financial Services Commission has appointed Elaine Walsh to the newly created role of Executive Director of Finance, Strategy and Change, positioning the function as a core part of its ongoing transformation programme and financial management framework. The role has direct responsibility for Finance, Operational Excellence and Project Management, with a mandate to support an enhanced change agenda and operational improvement while maintaining financial control and value for money. Walsh is also expected to help shape the JFSC’s 2026+ strategy and support the implementation of fees reform, drawing on prior experience in strategic planning, corporate governance and risk management in financial services in London and the Channel Islands, including senior finance roles at Family Nursing & Home Care and BNP Paribas Channel Islands.
