Kenya’s National Treasury, represented by Principal Secretary Dr Chris Kiptoo, participated in the International Monetary Fund-organised High-Level East African Community event on “Financial Sector Development in EAC: Overcoming Barriers,” led by African Department Director Abebe Aemro Selassie during the 2025 World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., which included an IMF staff presentation and discussions on strengthening and deepening financial sector development across the EAC.
