The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission convened its leading group meeting on designated assistance work, summarising its 2024 support and deploying key tasks for 2025 to support designated counties’ consolidation of poverty alleviation成果 and rural revitalisation. The meeting framed 2025 as the final year of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan and the last year of the five-year transition period linking poverty alleviation成果 with rural revitalisation. Priorities include strengthening work across six areas, including organisational保障, policy guidance, industrial support, and oversight and management, with an emphasis on preventing a large-scale return to poverty, supporting local industry development and farmers’ income growth, highlighting the role of financial assistance, and ensuring assistance funds are properly used and managed while developing demonstrative models.
