The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) published its schedule of public events and internal actions for the 12th National Financial Education Week (Semana ENEF), running from 12 to 18 May under the theme “Financial Education for Children and Young People: Preparing Society for Conscious Choices”. In its role as chair of the Brazilian Forum for Financial Education (FBEF), SUSEP will lead the opening ceremony and convene discussions focused on financial education and inclusive insurance. Planned activities include a 12 May opening ceremony at Brazil’s Ministry of Education in Brasília, followed by an event on “Insurance for All” on financial education, socioeconomic vulnerability and inclusive insurance supported by CNseg, FenSeg, FenaPrevi and FenaCap; a 13 May webinar on perspectives and challenges for financial education in Brazil; and 16 May livestreams with the National Treasury Secretariat covering products such as RendA+, VGBL and PGBL, alongside a seminar with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro’s Institute of Economics on dilemmas of financial inclusion and education. SUSEP also plans a closed session with the National Access Policy Working Group on inequalities in access to insurance and available consumer tools, as well as internal initiatives focused on employee financial wellbeing; further participation and streaming details for some sessions will be communicated via SUSEP’s official channels.
