All components moved in an unfavourable direction except households’ perceptions of their past financial situation, which improved. Households substantially lowered their expectations for the general economic situation in Luxembourg and for their own future financial situation, and also reduced their intentions to make major purchases; the component balances in March were -30 for general economic expectations, -4 for households’ past financial situation, -7 for households’ future financial expectations, and -21 for major purchase intentions.
