The Angola Capital Markets Commission held its first annual Supervision in Focus forum to strengthen dialogue with regulated entities and address supervisory and compliance issues in the country’s capital market. The session brought together capital market institutions and other financial sector participants for regulatory discussion and questions. The forum covered the impact of Regulations No. 1/25 and 2/25 on intermediaries and investment service providers, intermediaries’ role in public offerings, advertising rules and practices for collective investment undertakings, and investor protection mechanisms. The commission committed to continuing dialogue and training initiatives aimed at improving institutional organization, operational processes and compliance standards.
