The UAE Securities & Commodities Authority announced that it recovered AED 4.1 million for investors through amicable settlements during 2024, using its dispute-resolution service to resolve complaints between investors and licensed companies. The authority linked the recovered amounts to its complaints-handling and settlement process, which is designed to support transparent dispute resolution in the financial markets. Chief Executive Officer Waleed Saeed Al Awadhi said the settlements reflect the authority’s effectiveness in protecting investor rights and ensuring fair outcomes, and the SCA encouraged investors to continue using its complaint and settlement services.
