The Financial Superintendence of Colombia reported on its participation in the XIV Joint Meeting of the Central American Council of Superintendents of Banks, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions (CCSBSO) and the Central American Monetary Council (CMCA), where Colombia was announced as the next coordinator of the CCSBSO Sustainability Committee. Discussions in San José covered regional supervisory topics including implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) in Latin America, the Regional Financial Stability report, and analysis of the situation of regional banks. The Colombian supervisor also participated with voice and vote in administrative discussions and the accountability process for technical committees, and Felipe Guerra was recognised for technical contributions to the coordination of the Models and Stress Testing Group. Colombia will assume coordination of the Sustainability Committee from April 2026.
