The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) will hold a judgment session starting at 15:00 on 13 May in Administrative Sanctioning Proceeding PAS 19957.008804/2023-81, examining the possible responsibility of Pricewaterhousecoopers Auditores Independentes Ltda. and Marcos Paulo Putini for alleged irregularities in the independent audit of the financial statements of the real estate investment fund FII Torre Almirante as of 31 December 2019 and 31 December 2020. The session will be open to the public and held in person at the CVM’s headquarters auditorium in Rio de Janeiro, with an option to follow via videoconference. If none of the accused or their duly appointed representatives indicates an intention to participate, the judgment will be conducted in a restricted format through electronic voting. The rapporteur’s report by Director Marina Copola has been published and may be amended after the judgment session.
