The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has signed a cooperation convention with Banque de France’s EDUCFI, formalizing cooperation to develop and expand financial education in Kosovo. The arrangement allows the Kosovo central bank to adapt educational materials developed under France’s national financial education strategy for use in its own financial education activities, supporting its stated goals of strengthening financial literacy and financial inclusion. EDUCFI, led by Banque de France, offers tools designed to be accessible, reliable, neutral and free of charge. In addition to adapting materials, the agreement creates scope for joint events, exchanges of best practices, and other educational and communication activities. The announcement also places the initiative within broader institutional cooperation between the two central banks, including work on reserve and international asset management and professional expertise sharing.
