The Securities and Exchange Board of India has announced changes to settlement dates for certain early-September 2025 trade days in the derivative, cash and Stock Lending and Borrowing Mechanism (SLBM) segments, following the declaration of 5 September 2025 and 8 September 2025 as settlement holidays by clearing corporations. Settlement for the derivative segment for trades executed on 4, 5 and 8 September 2025 will be undertaken on 9 September 2025. Settlement for the cash and SLBM segments for trades executed on 4 and 5 September 2025 will also be undertaken on 9 September 2025, while trades executed on 8 and 9 September 2025 will be settled on 10 September 2025. Stock exchanges have informed stakeholders and trading members, including via circulars, about the impact on corporate action ex-date and cum-date.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has adjusted settlement dates for trades in the derivative, cash, and Stock Lending and Borrowing Mechanism segments due to settlement holidays on 5 and 8 September 2025. Trades executed on 4, 5, and 8 September in the derivative segment will settle on 9 September, while cash and SLBM trades from 4 and 5 September will settle on 9 September, and those from 8 and 9 September will settle on 10 September.
