The National Bank of Ukraine appointed Lesia Kolesan as Director of its Procurement Department, effective 3 February 2025. In the role, she will oversee methodological support for procurement, coordinate procurement planning and the purchase of goods, works and services, and support contractual work and procurement agreements. The remit also includes ensuring the work of the NBU Procurement Commission and authorised persons responsible for organising and conducting procurement. The Procurement Department sits within the NBU’s Finance, Administration, and Operations function under the general management and control of Deputy Governor Yaroslav Matuzka. Kolesan had served as Acting Director since August 2024 and moved from Head of the Public Procurement Office within the department, a post she held since 2019.
