The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority announced it ran the seventh round of its Certified Financial Trainer (CFAT) programme, organised with the Ministry of Youth and Sports under their cooperation protocol, for members of the Senate Simulation Model. The training was hosted at the Authority’s Smart Village headquarters from 31 August to 3 September 2025 and is intended to build a cadre of young trainers to promote non-banking financial literacy, including through youth centres nationwide. The Authority highlighted that earlier programme rounds have already produced young trainers who are sharing financial knowledge with peers, supporting broader financial inclusion efforts. The curriculum covered personal finance, capital markets, insurance, mortgage finance, financial leasing, factoring, consumer finance, SME and microfinance, movable collateral, and sustainable finance, while the ministry indicated it would support extending these activities to youth centres and financial awareness clubs.
