The Angola Capital Markets Commission reported that it held a capacity-building session on 16 April 2026 for trainee lawyers and members of the Angola Bar Association, aimed at strengthening technical and legal understanding of the functioning, regulation and supervision of Angola’s capital markets. The three-hour module covered the sector’s legal, regulatory and institutional framework, the Commission’s regulatory powers and supervisory activities, key obligations for different market participants, and the regime for offences and related sanctions. Delivery combined theoretical presentations, practical case analysis, and discussion, and was positioned as part of the Commission’s institutional cooperation with the Angola Bar Association.
