The Securities and Exchange Board of India announced seven winning entries in its Securities Market TechSprint at Global Fintech Fest 2026. Conducted with market infrastructure institutions and industry bodies, the competition continued SEBI’s use of innovation challenges to develop technology solutions for securities market issues. It attracted 512 applications, from which 149 teams were selected to build prototypes and produced 116 working solutions. The top three entries were NIYAMA, IPO SHERPA and SEBI ImpactOS. Their solutions focused on converting regulatory text into operational compliance actions and simplifying initial public offering documents for small and midsize enterprises. Four jury recommendation prizes covered artificial intelligence detection of synthetic media and phishing, unified multi-asset investing and retail investor awareness, and SME IPO document preparation. The winners were recognized at a Sept. 10 ceremony, where SEBI Whole Time Member Sandip Pradhan presented the prizes.
