The National Bank of Ukraine has amended the list of foreign currencies for which it sets an official hryvnia exchange rate by excluding the Bulgarian lev, effective 2 January 2026, following Bulgaria’s accession to the euro area on 1 January 2026, via Order of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 2 amending Order No. 298 dated 28 March 2025 (entered into force on 1 January 2026).
