The Bank of Uganda notified the public that Super Gate Forex Bureau Limited voluntarily ceased carrying on money remittance business, as defined under Section 1 of the Foreign Exchange Act, Cap. 167, with effect from 16 March 2026, and asked customers with outstanding claims for money given to the firm for remittance purposes to submit those claims with evidence to the Office of the Director Non-Bank Financial Institutions Department by 12 June 2026.

The Bank of Uganda said Super Gate Forex Bureau Limited voluntarily ceased carrying on money remittance business with effect from 16 March 2026, and customers with outstanding remittance claims must submit them with evidence by 12 June 2026.
