The Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a formal framework for cooperation and mutual assistance on the supervision and regulation of capital markets. The arrangement is intended to support cross-border regulatory coordination between the Greek and Abu Dhabi authorities within their respective mandates. The MoU provides for structured information exchange and mutual assistance, and also covers cooperation on shared priorities including combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant sanctions. The release links the agreement to stronger coordination on cross-border activity, investor protection, market integrity, and more effective supervision across both jurisdictions.
