The Government of Bermuda reported that Attorney-General and Minister of Justice Kim Wilkerson represented the jurisdiction at the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force Council of Ministers meeting, where members addressed regional priorities related to money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. The engagement comes as Bermuda undergoes its Fifth Round Mutual Evaluation against Financial Action Task Force standards. Bermuda officials continued discussions with the CFATF mission team and assessors ahead of an on-site visit scheduled for April 2027. The peer review will assess both the jurisdiction’s technical compliance with FATF standards and the practical effectiveness of its legislative, regulatory and enforcement frameworks.
