The Central Bank of Estonia has published its monthly balance of payments flash estimate, which draws on a smaller dataset than the quarterly figures and is adjusted when the corresponding quarterly balance of payments is released. The estimate uses available administrative data, international payment reports and other sources, but remains partly subjective because of its limited initial dataset. The quarterly balance of payments uses a broader system of representative primary sources, including company surveys. The bank will publish the balance of payments for the third quarter of 2026 on Dec. 9, 2026.
