The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario has revoked the insurance agent licence of Nakhwattie (Debbie) Somai. FSRA cited repeated failures to provide requested information and a breach of a licensing condition requiring Somai to facilitate an FSRA examination, contrary to sections 442.3(3) and 443(1) of Ontario’s Insurance Act. Somai did not request a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal or contest FSRA’s proposal.
