Expectations for future living standards and household income each increased by one point, while the outlook for household spending and future domestic economic conditions was unchanged. Sentiment on current living standards fell one point to 93, and the assessment of current domestic economic conditions declined two points to 84. Expected inflation fell to 2.7% over the coming year and 2.6% over the three-year horizon, while five-year expectations remained at 2.6%.

The Bank of Korea reported that consumer sentiment edged up 0.2 points to 106.8 in July 2026. One-year and three-year inflation expectations each declined by 0.1 percentage point, to 2.7% and 2.6%, respectively, while five-year expectations held at 2.6%.
