The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario is inviting mortgage industry professionals to apply for membership on its Mortgage Brokering Technical Advisory Committee, which provides advice and feedback to FSRA management on matters affecting mortgage brokering oversight. FSRA is seeking four members for three-year terms starting in January 2026. The Committee’s remit includes sharing observations on market conditions and operations and providing input on the development of rules and procedures, filing requirements, guidelines, operational policies and other related matters. FSRA said applicants should be senior members of their organization or profession with operational experience and the ability to represent their organization or profession on relevant mortgage or related industry issues, and it will also consider applications from current members whose terms are expiring. Applications will be accepted until December 19, 2025. The next Technical Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for February 2026.
