The Central Bank of Argentina and the Deutsche Bundesbank have signed a technical cooperation agreement establishing a framework for joint training and specialised advisory work aimed at strengthening the Central Bank of Argentina’s technical capabilities and supporting the adoption of international best practices. The work programme includes training and advisory activities designed to deliver concrete outcomes for the Central Bank of Argentina’s technical management, alongside seminars and expert roundtables delivered both virtually and in person in Argentina and Germany. Operational implementation is assigned to the Central Bank of Argentina’s International Affairs Management and the Bundesbank’s Centre for International Central Bank Dialogue, with annual planning and evaluation meetings to agree the technical agenda. The agreement was signed by Central Bank of Argentina President Santiago Bausili and Bundesbank Executive Board member Burkhard Balz. The framework runs until the end of 2030 and can be renewed by mutual agreement.
