The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has revoked Otyrarauylnesie Credit Partnership’s license to conduct microfinance activities after the firm repeatedly failed to comply with the authority’s written directives. Within 30 calendar days of the revocation, the firm must either re-register under a name that does not imply it provides microcredit or decide to reorganize or liquidate. Clients with outstanding obligations under microcredit agreements remain responsible for meeting those obligations and for any breaches.
