The Central Bank of Peru published results from its macroeconomic expectations survey showing that 12 month inflation expectations among economic analysts and the financial system declined to 2.83 percent in June 2026 from 2.89 percent in May, remaining within the 1 percent to 3 percent inflation target range. For calendar year 2026, inflation expectations across surveyed economic agents were in a 2.80 percent to 3.20 percent range. For 2027, surveyed agents expected inflation of 2.50 percent. For 2028, expectations were between 2.30 percent and 2.50 percent, also within the target range. The June survey covered 18 economic analysts, 13 financial companies and 302 non-financial companies.
