The New Zealand Financial Markets Authority confirmed that its November 2024 investigation into Senior Trust Capital Limited, a senior living sector financier and issuer under a regulated offer of shares, remains ongoing. The inquiry is assessing whether disclosures in Senior Trust Capital’s previous product disclosure statement and related advertising complied with Parts 2 and 3 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, following the company’s voluntary withdrawal of its public share offer on 14 May 2025. Alongside the investigation, the FMA has been engaging with the company on aspects of its business and requested that certain information be provided to investors; Senior Trust Capital has now made the disclosure through an investor communication dated 27 June 2025. The FMA also noted it has separately issued an update on investigations into Senior Trust Retirement Village Income Generator Limited, which it described as a different but related entity.
