The Isle of Man Treasury has opened recruitment for a new chair and an additional board member of the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority. The successful candidates are expected to begin in early 2027, following the on-site phase of the Island’s MONEYVAL mutual evaluation, and will help set the regulator’s strategic direction as it considers the evaluation’s final recommendations, due in June 2027. Candidates must demonstrate senior-level experience, sound judgment, integrity and strategic thinking, with relevant expertise in financial services, regulation, governance, finance, restructuring or human resources. The chair will lead the board and its relationship with the chief executive and executive team, while the board member will provide independent oversight of regulatory effectiveness, governance, risk and financial management. Appointments are made by the Treasury subject to Tynwald approval, and applications close on Sept. 27, 2026.
