The National Bank of Poland published monetary statistics showing that broad money (M3) rose by PLN 44.9bn in December 2025 to PLN 2,737.7bn at end-month, mainly driven by higher deposits and other claims of non-financial corporations and households. Deposits and other claims of non-financial corporations increased by PLN 31.8bn (5.6%) to PLN 598.9bn, and household deposits and other claims rose by PLN 26.3bn (1.9%) to PLN 1,436.9bn, while local government sector deposits fell by PLN 17.2bn (14.8%) to PLN 98.9bn. Net debt of central government entities increased by PLN 34.8bn (6.0%) to PLN 618.5bn and local government net debt by PLN 8.5bn (10.5%) to PLN 89.1bn, while household debt rose by PLN 2.3bn (0.3%) to PLN 830.6bn and non-financial corporate debt declined by PLN 7.7bn (1.6%) to PLN 461.6bn.
