The measures include a minimum 90-day grace period for premiums, installments or fees due from April 15 to May 31, 2026, and a three-month grace period for loan repayments. Policies or agreements scheduled to lapse or expire on or before May 31 must receive a minimum 90-day coverage extension, subject to payment of the corresponding premiums. Regulated entities also have an additional 30 days to submit reportorial requirements covering April through June without fines or penalties. Insurance agents were urged to inform clients of the relief, provide appropriate advice and assist with claims processing.
