The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic published the outcomes of the thirteenth meeting of the Advisory Council on the audit activities of central (national) banks, bringing together central banks of Eurasian Economic Union member states, the Republic of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market. The meeting concluded with a signed protocol and a decision to continue joint work to improve internal audit reviews and exchange experience on current issues. Held in Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region, from 10 to 12 September 2025, the agenda covered strengthening internal audit testing, internal audit quality control and performance assessment, and new international internal audit standards. Participants also shared practices on information security, construction, asset quality assessment, supervisory stress testing of the banking system, business continuity and crisis management arrangements, and the planning, issuance and distribution of commemorative coins in precious and non-precious metals.
