The Qatar Financial Markets Authority announced that the Court of Cassation has upheld a Court of Appeal ruling confirming the QFMA Appeal Committee’s decision to censure a market trader. The trader was fined QAR 150,000 for entering and cancelling large-volume purchase orders in several shares with the intent of creating a misleading market impression.
