The Argentina Securities Commission will begin using the Remote Procedures System from August 10 to issue and receive information or document requests in investigations and supervisory activities concerning the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. Entities subject to Financial Information Unit obligations in the capital markets and all other entities registered with the commission must respond to these requests exclusively through the platform. When required, compliance officers of obligated capital markets entities and other commission-registered entities must establish a special electronic address. Communications and notifications delivered to that address through the platform will be legally valid.
