The Arab Monetary Fund, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan, opened the Jordan Fintech Festival 2025 in Amman, positioning the event as a regional forum for regulators, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and investors to discuss the future of digital finance and emerging global trends. Alongside the festival, the AMF held the 14th meeting of its Fintech Working Group with representatives of Arab central banks and regulatory bodies. The two-day programme focused on digital payments, virtual assets, open finance and artificial intelligence in financial services, as well as cybersecurity and consumer protection. A virtual assets workshop organised by the Central Bank of Jordan in collaboration with the AMF brought together regulatory and supervisory authorities, law enforcement agencies and financial institutions to review international experience and discuss opportunities and challenges in implementing legislative and regulatory frameworks.
