Seven companies spanning artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, defense and climate technology presented their financing plans to 41 investment managers, comprising 33 National Growth Fund indirect investment managers and eight Korea Fund of Funds managers. One-on-one sessions allowed the companies to discuss capital needs and business plans directly with fund managers, while also supporting co-investment, investor networking and opportunities for early-stage managers to exit and reinvest. The authorities plan to pursue regular meetings and are considering themed sessions focused on areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and regional innovation, expanding the initiative as a platform linking promising companies with investors.
