The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) published a community update welcoming the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten as a Member organisation and the Bank of Somaliland as a new Associate, alongside a round-up of recent publications, training and events across its network. Updates highlighted include India’s Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) publishing its 2024–25 Annual Report, releasing the third edition of its Half Yearly Newsletter “Safety-Net” (covering performance indicators, the Single Customer View application and public awareness initiatives), and launching a depositors’ awareness comic book explaining DICGC’s processes and tools. The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation released IDIC Global Updates Volume 2 – 2025, reporting steady banking-sector growth in the second quarter of 2025 supported by improved industry financial ratios. IADI also pointed to the 2024 Annual Reports from the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Jordan Deposit Insurance Corporation, a new edition of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee’s APRC Net, and materials from the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Global Training Programme. For capacity building, the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation promoted its four-day “FDIC 101” programme for senior managers and policymakers, scheduled for 13–16 July 2026 in Arlington, Virginia (fee USD 500; application deadline 23 February 2026). IADI also flagged the forthcoming 24th IADI Annual General Meeting and Annual Conference in Lisbon, hosted by Portugal’s Fundo de Garantia de Depósitos.
