The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission published the results of “Insure Mall Thailand 2024”, highlighting the rollout of the Insure Mall Thailand website as an online channel for consumers to access and purchase insurance products. During the event period of 9–15 December 2024, the platform recorded 258,260 website visits and total insurance purchases of THB 247,649,615. The Office attributed uptake to the shift to an online purchasing channel, special promotions and discounts of up to 35%, and packaged offerings. The initiative involved 49 partners, comprising six insurance-related funds and associations, 15 life insurers, 17 non-life insurers, and 11 insurance brokers and banks; a prize draw linked to purchases during the event included 333 prizes with a total value of more than THB 1 million. The Insure Mall Thailand website will remain open and is expected to add more products and features, including a points-accumulation redemption system, website-based calling, sales via digital face-to-face, and a live room for insurance education and product promotion.
