Argentina’s Superintendency of Insurance reported that Superintendent Guillermo Plate participated as a special guest at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ International Insurance Forum 2025 in Washington, DC, a gathering of international authorities to discuss current and future developments in the insurance industry. The agenda focused on key trends including artificial intelligence, alternative investments, climate change, innovation in emerging markets and population ageing. The forum featured presentations and panels moderated by NAIC officials, with participation from international bodies including the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, the International Monetary Fund and the Geneva Association, alongside executives from firms such as Lloyd’s, Manulife and Zurich.
