Switzerland’s Federal Council has taken note of the resignation of Rene W. Keller from the Board of Directors of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), with effect from 30 June 2025. Keller is stepping down due to a planned career change and has served on the FINMA Board since 1 February 2024. The Board of Directors is FINMA’s strategic body and has nine members; from 1 July 2025 it will have eight members. The Federal Council will decide on any replacement at a later date.

Rene W. Keller will resign from the Board of Directors of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) effective 30 June 2025, due to a planned career change. Keller has been a board member since February 2024. The Federal Department of Finance will address his replacement later.
