The Central Bank of Paraguay published an update on its BCP Educa financial education program, stating that training sessions held in the departments of Concepción, Central and Itapúa during May and June reached about 1,100 participants. The activities were aimed at secondary and university students, as well as other people interested in strengthening their knowledge of personal finance and economics. Under the theme Conociendo los seguros, asegurando tu futuro, the sessions covered insurance, its importance and the economic analysis of Paraguay’s insurance market. The program was delivered at universities and schools in Concepción and Horqueta, at Colegio Nacional Isla Bogado in Luque, and at multiple institutions in Encarnación, Carmen del Paraná, Fram and Coronel Bogado in Itapúa.
