The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo published its July 2025 central bank balance sheet, financial statement and reserve assets statistics, reporting that total assets reached EUR 1.86 billion at end-July 2025, up EUR 68.71 million from end-June. The increase was mainly driven by higher deposits from the Republic of Kosovo budget (Treasury account), the Kosovo Privatization Agency, pension funds and the Deposit Insurance Fund. Investments abroad in deposits and securities totalled EUR 1.39 billion as at 31 July 2025, up EUR 70.64 million month on month, with deposit investments rising EUR 101.39 million while securities holdings fell EUR 30.76 million. Deposits at the central bank stood at EUR 1.58 billion (up EUR 64.69 million), comprising EUR 636.33 million from the government budget, EUR 616.99 million from commercial banks, EUR 186.95 million from the Kosovo Privatization Agency and EUR 135.64 million from other sources; central bank capital was EUR 118.77 million. International reserve assets were EUR 1.46 billion at end-July 2025, up EUR 50.4 million, reflecting a EUR 77.4 million increase in deposits and a EUR 28.6 million reduction in investments in securities.
