The Central Bank of Syria announced that Governor Abdulkader Husrieh held a joint meeting with representatives of banks operating in Syria and licensed exchange companies and offices to mark the start of Oliver Wyman’s work to assess gaps in the central bank and the Syrian financial sector, with discussions focused on cooperation between financial institutions and the consultancy to produce a comprehensive assessment of the banking and financial sector and identify the technical and regulatory needs for development in line with international standards.

The Central Bank of Syria announced the start of Oliver Wyman’s work to assess gaps in the central bank and the Syrian financial sector.
