The Central Bank of the Philippines has issued a circular letter requiring all non-bank financial institutions with quasi-banking function and/or trust authority, and trust corporations, to publish or post their Statement of Condition and Consolidated Statement of Condition, or balance sheet as applicable, as of 30 June 2026. The requirement applies to head office, branches and other offices, with the standalone and consolidated statements to be shown side by side where required. The statements must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city or province of the institution’s principal office within 20 working days from the date of the circular letter. If no such newspaper is available locally, publication must be made in a newspaper of general circulation published in Metro Manila or in the nearest city or province. Institutions must also submit scanned PDF copies of the original and a copy of the statement or balance sheet within the same 20 working days, and then submit scanned copies of the published version together with the publisher’s certificate within five working days from publication.
