China’s National Financial Regulatory Administration, the People’s Bank of China and the China Securities Regulatory Commission jointly launched the 2026 Financial Education Publicity Week. The campaign will promote financial literacy, explain emerging online financial risks and safeguards, and highlight compliant, secure digital financial services. The authorities also published examples of financial sector measures serving the public and a selection of popular financial education materials. The financial system will conduct a targeted consumer protection initiative through community networks, public service centers, and online and offline channels. Activities will provide financial knowledge and risk prevention guidance while publicizing consultation, complaint handling, dispute mediation and other redress channels to help consumers understand their legal rights and resolution options.
