The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank is hosting the fourth Regional Central Bank Communications Conference, bringing together communications professionals and specialists to examine how central banks can strengthen public trust through more responsive engagement. Governor Timothy N.J. Antoine said the bank’s approach rests on communication that is transparent, trustworthy, timely and two-way, with effectiveness assessed through engagement, understanding, behavioral change and resulting action. The conference focuses on stakeholder listening frameworks, communicating complex information through dialogue and converting feedback into action. Participants include representatives from the 11 central banks whose governors make up the CARICOM Committee of Central Bank Governors, alongside international institutions and academic specialists. The event will conclude with action plans, institutional commitments and the announcement of the 2027 host institution.
