The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced the appointment of Mr Zhu Haibin as Executive Director (Research), effective from 1 October 2025, following approval by the Financial Secretary on the advice of the Governance Sub-Committee of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee. In the role, Mr Zhu will be responsible for research relating to macroeconomics and financial stability.
