The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) published analytical data on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s foreign currency reserves and foreign currency liquidity as at the end of March 2025, using the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity. The release forms part of four monthly HKMA press releases covering Exchange Fund data. Three releases disseminate monetary data in line with the IMF’s SDDS, while a fourth covers the Exchange Fund’s abridged balance sheet and the Currency Board Account under the HKMA’s transparency policy; for April 2025, the SDDS international reserves release and SDDS analytical accounts of the central bank were issued on 7 April and 14 April, with the SDDS reserves and liquidity template and the abridged balance sheet and Currency Board Account scheduled for 30 April.
