During the meeting, the Deputy Governor highlighted the Bank of the Lao’s five-year financial sector development plan, with an emphasis on deepening green finance. Discussions also covered support for the Bank’s education and training activities led by the Banking Institute, with a request for the association to help strengthen teaching and learning standards.
