The Securities and Exchange Commission of Central Africa (COSUMAF) has launched a public consultation on nine draft instructions intended to clarify how provisions of the Central Africa financial market regulation and COSUMAF’s General Regulation are to be applied. The drafts cover standardised templates and governance documents for capital investment funds and investment companies, as well as long-term professional investment funds and companies. They also address licensing conditions and approval procedures for financial investment advisers, reporting content and format for collective investment scheme management companies, and the content of internal control reports for brokerage firms and for collective investment scheme management companies. The consultation runs from 21 February to 1 March 2025. After the deadline, COSUMAF will analyse submissions and publish the corresponding minutes on its website.
